 6.Kemudian buka BlackBerry device software untuk backup data yang ada di ponsel.
7.Setelah anda mem-backup data dan aplikasi anda, selanjutnya adalah pada aplikasi BBSak klik pada tombol Wipe Device. Maka akan terdapat pesan error. Biarkan saja pesan error tersebut.

 
 8.Buka windows explorer, lalu pilih C:\ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research in Motion \ AppLoader. Kemudian cari file dengan nama vendor.xml dan hapus file tersebut. Ini berfungsi agar ponsel BlackBerry kita bisa digunakan dalam semua operator selular.
9.Lalu buka Loader.exe yang letaknya masih di folder yang sama dengan yang diatas. Maka komputer akan mengupgrade ponsel BlackBerry anda. Tunggu hingga proses upgrading selesai.
10.Pada aplikasi BBsak, klik pada tombol Restore Apps. Ini berfungsi untuk mengembalikan aplikasi yang ada di ponsel BlackBerry anda.

11.Lalu untuk mengembalikan data yang ada di ponsel BlackBerry, silakan anda restore data dengan menggunakan BlackBerry Device Software.
12.Jika sudah, lepaskan ponsel dari komputer lalu cabut baterai ponsel dan nyalakan ponsel BlackBerry anda. Maka ponsel BlackBerry anda sudah mempunyai versi yang paling baru untuk ponsel BlackBerry anda.
